OK, this time I have a sequel mixtape for the series Through the curtains. This set is dealing with musical mood and not with a genre or particular subject. Here experienced musical ears will recognize the common materials that are interesting and exciting for me. I gave my heart the option to randomly court after songs or tracks that drew my attention lately. This time I don’t have any historical, nostalgic or technical story for the music, only strong desire to share this sequence for anyone – you are most welcome to

With the last 3 years, I’m working as a music director and technician in a local radio station. Because it is a station that doesn’t occupy many live shows during the day, we have a lot of extra empty hours in which in regular times the computer use to random music and jingles or pre-recorded shows. When I had free time, I started to create my own playlists to broadcast in these open hours. And with my natural way, these playlists turned out to be extremely eclectic. So I decided to upload some of them for your pleasure:
כפי שהבטחתי באחד מהפוסטים האחרונים שלי, שלמעשה היה פוסט אורח אצל ה”קונכיה“, מעכשיו אני מתחיל להעלות אל שרת תוכניות הרדיו הישראלי iCast [מסתבר שהשרת של icast נפל נכון לדצמבר 2016 ועל כן החלטתי לעלות ל-MixCloud את כל התוכניות המדוברות שערכתי לרדיו במהלך 2012 בהמשך הפוסט הזה] אלה תוכניות רדיו שערכתי במקום, בזמן שיש לי הרבה חלונות ריקים בלוח השידורים בתחנה הסטודנטיאלית שאני עובד בה מזה 3 שנים. אם בא לכם להקשיב לאקלקטיקה מסחררת ומקפצת בין מיטב סגנונות המוסיקה הקיימים על הכדור שלנו, נחתתם במקום הנכון. חשוב לציין, מפאת האילתור, לפעמים הרצפים המוסיקאליים האלה לא יצאו במיטבם לטעמי, ולכן אני בוחר להעלות לרשת את אלה שאני מוצא בהם גם עניין מוסיקאלי וגם רצף מענג:

How nice is it! The summer is here, even though, as everyone knows, the summers in Tel Aviv are not always that kind of a blessing. I, anyway, will be glad if they give them to me to enjoy as long as I can. 🙂
As I promised earlier, the pleasant series “Sunshine Voice” is here again for another refreshing nugget. Go out to the balcony, to the garden or the park with headphones on your head with this nugget playing; a glass of lemonade with ice cubes and mint leaf biting your palate. The summer is smiling for you.
איזה יופי! הקיץ כאן, למרות שבתל אביב כמו שכולם יודעים זאת לא תמיד כזאת ברכה, אני בכל אופן אשמח אם יתנו לי להנות ממנו כל עוד אני יכול 🙂 כפי שהבטחתי כבר קודם, הסידרה המנעימה “Sunshine Voice” חוזרת לביקור בעוד נגיס עם מקבץ מוסיקאלי מרנין חושים – צאו למרפסת או לגינה, הציבורית אם אין, כשאזניות עוטפות את מרחב השמיעה כאשר הנגיס הזה מתנגן, וכוס לימונדה קרה עם קוביית קרח ועלה של נענע צורבים את החיך, הקיץ מחייך אליכם…

There’s nothing like the Israeli Friday afternoon to present the following mixtape nugget.
Before the twilight time, when the strong sunbeams entering through the curtains and this typical Friday peace, even if technically it doesn’t exist like in my current apartment, this time of the week does something for me. I think this mixtape is a great representation of the vibe I’m talking about. Some of the lyrics in these songs are melancholic, some of the tracks are mellow, personally all of them are making something really good in their calm way, and here we’re dealing with a series of mixtapes to follow, like I mentioned in Sunshine Voice, short space too small to contain all the ideas 🙂

אין כמו צהרי- אחרי צהרי יום שישי כדי להציג לכם את הנגיס הבא.
לפני הדימדומים, כשקרני השמש החזקות חודרות מבעד לוילונות והשקט הזה (אפילו אם טכנית הוא לא קיים, כמו בדירה ה”מפנקת” שלי, וגם אם אתם עובדים לפעמים במשך השבת), עדיין הזמן הזה כמה שמחזרו כבר את הדיבורים עליו, עושה לי משהו. אני חושב שהלקט הבא יעביר טוב את ה- Vibe שאני מדבר עליו. יכול להיות שהטקסטים בשירים על-פנם מלנכוליים בחלקם, חלק מהקטעים נוגים, לי באופן אישי הם עושים ממש טוב – ברגוע. וגם כאן מדובר בסידרה, כפי שציינתי בפוסט של Sunshine Voice, היריעה קצרה מלהכיל…. רק בריאות!

And here you have my second “nugget” that was created by my compounding tools: Before the summer I added this “nugget” for the sunshine hours. This type of collection raises refined heat, a sort of good and calm feeling like laying under a big tree and staring at the sun flickering from under the leaves.
Since I found several tunes that can fit to this puzzle, I let myself declare that this is the first mixtape in a series that’s continues in the future.
והנה הכוכב השני שלי, שיוצא תחת כלי מרקחותיי – לקראת הקיץ הבא עלינו לטובה אני מצרף נגיס לשעות השמש, מקבץ מוסיקאלי כזה שמעורר אצלי חום מזוקק, מן הרגשה טובה ורגועה כזאת של שכיבה תחת עץ גדול ובהיה מנוצנצת על השמש בין העלים. מכיוון שנתקלתי בהרבה שירים וקטעים מוסיקאליים שיכולים להתאים לפאזל הזה, אני מרשה לעצמי לציין את הנגיס הזה בתור ראשון בסידרה שתגיע אם ירצה השם בהמשך.
